VITA-MOVE

VITA-MOVE allows you to move patients within your venues without any human intervention other than giving them their destination. It automatically calculates the best path to get to the desired location and will adjust it during the journey depending on the obstacles encountered (people, furniture, work zone, etc.).
It adapts its speed according to travel conditions, including intelligent avoidance of unforeseen obstacles, and ensures the safety of the person being transported and the users they encounter.

The impersonated patient is obviously unable to use a joystick.
But in another perspective when dealing with senior user like in nursing home, many of these patients/clients are unable to safely handle a joystick they can hurt a third party as well as themselves either hurting peoples or going too close to hazardous area like a stair.
This a case where VITA-MOVE mission can be organized to use the joystick as an approximation of the intended bearing, Vita-Move doing the exact path and adjustment to ensure safety and efficiency.
This may include additional services for organization likes call back asked remotely by a nurse or for the users using pre-labeled destination to go in places like Livingroom, dining-room, or bedroom, or simply just to go back on exact previous path.

Shows a point-to-point route with a succession of chaotic cases due to pedestrians, who either obstruct the passage with possible bypass, or prevent any bypass, or represent a potential obstacle accompanying the VITA-MOVE.
We can notice that VITA-MOVE slows down when passing through the first door, because there may be people emerging to the right of this door, from the area where VITA-MOVE has no visibility.
Also note the case of the corridor : a pedestrian accompanies the machine. VITA-MOVE perceives this and decides that the path remains safe enough for it to continue its mission without even changing its speed.
Show a path with multiple categories of issue related to external pedestrian as obstacles, some requiring re-tasking in real time, some other case requiring a monitoring and assessment of the risk.
It should be noted that Vita is smart enough to slow down on first door to care about a running pedestrian from occluded area.
Also to be noted in the corridor a pedestrian walking alongside of VITA-MOVE, it does understand and interpreted the pedestrian as an issue that need path adjustment but that does not require to slowdown.
Vita response time is better than 1 millisecond, i.e. 1cm at 6kmh. Or 1 foot at 70 Mph
This video show not only the anticipation of the person that jump in front of the moving chair, but also, show that Vita-Move take its own speculative decision to use an alternate route, because the original one was re-evaluated as being of a higher risk due to encountered event showing unexpected and dangerous obstacle.

Montre un parcours en point à point avec une succession de cas chaotique dus à des piétons, qui soit obstruent le passage avec contournement possible, soit empêchent tout contournement, soit représentent un obstacle potentiel accompagnant le VITA-MOVE.
On peut remarquer que VITA-MOVE ralenti dans le passage de la première porte, car il peut y avoir des gens qui surgissent sur la droite de cette porte, depuis la zone ou VITA-MOVE n’a pas de visibilité.
A noter aussi le cas du corridor : un piéton accompagne la machine. VITA-MOVE le perçoit et décide que le chemin reste suffisamment sûr pour qu’il continue sa mission sans même changer sa vitesse.
Montre un chemin avec plusieurs catégories de problèmes liés aux piétons externes comme obstacles, certains nécessitant une nouvelle tâche en temps réel, d'autres cas nécessitant une surveillance et une évaluation du risque.
Il convient de noter que VITA-MOVE est suffisamment intelligent pour ralentir à la première porte afin de se soucier d'un piéton qui court depuis une zone obstruée.
A noter également dans le couloir un piéton marchant à côté de VITA-MOVE, il comprend et interprète le piéton comme un problème qui nécessite un ajustement de trajectoire mais qui ne nécessite pas de ralentir.
Le temps de réponse de VITA-MOVE est meilleur que 1 milliseconde, i.e. 1cm at 6kmh.
